Our Board

Tony Pizelo

Tony has been an executive in the financial industry for over 20 years. He is also an adjunct business professor at Seattle Pacific University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology.


Just prior to joining Pacific West, Tony worked for Great Northern Financial Services helping them become an NASD and SEC broker-dealer. He also has previous experience managing an independent broker-dealer.

Tony spent many years teaching various college-level business courses, including recent MBA classes in finance and economics.

Tony holds a Bachelors of Arts (BA) degree in Economics with honors from Gonzaga University and a Masters of Arts (MA) degree in Economics from Washington State University. When not at work or school, I enjoy spending time with my family including my wife Bonnie, and our 6 children Hannah, Samuel, Giovanna, Stephanas, Allen and Esther. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Northwest University and The Refuge.

Robin Nunn

Robin grew up in Bellevue, Washington. She attended the university of Washington, earning bachelors of science degree in nursing.

She and her husband, Doug,were married following her graduation and moved to Los Angeles, California where Robin practiced nursing in the Intensive Care Unit and Trauma Center of Children's Hospital of LA.

After several years in the LA area, Robin her husband returned to the Issaquah area to raise a family of three boys. Robin remained home with her children and has been active in school and community volunteerism since that time. Robin and Doug are the proud grandparents to 4 grandchildren.

Cindy Kearney

I’ve been with Swedish Medical Center for 38 years with a background as a Radiation Therapist. My title is Swedish Cancer Institute Systems Director for Radiation Oncology Services and Network Cancer Centers. In that role I provide management and leadership for all administrative, technical and clinical operations for 7 different sites of service in the Puget Sound area involving a staff of approx. 25 physicians and 110 employees. My departments treat over 250 cancer patients each weekday.

Shawn Beach

Shawn has more than 20 years experience working with non profits and youth development and is passionate about mentoring and leadership development. Shawn brings considerable expertise to The Refuge Youth Center with a mixture of hands on youth experience and a supporting MBA for business development. Prior to being involved with the launch of The Refuge, Shawn served as a Regional Director of a Mid-west youth organization that was dedicated to developing leadership in urban areas.

Currently Shawn and his beautiful wife own and operate A Better Solution In-Home Care providing exceptional care to seniors and disabled clients in the comforts of their own homes from Seattle to Anacortes.

Chris Venti

Chris Venti is a seasoned operations executive with 35 years’ experience in key management positions in a variety of industries and situations. His main operations improvement training came from his tenure at the General Electric Co. He is a high-energy professional, experienced in start-ups, acquisitions, and turnarounds – leading both technical and cultural improvements. Mr. Venti was VP Operations/COO for a venture capital group that acquired and combined manufacturing companies; he was also part of the due diligence team.

He now owns and runs two companies, Status Racing that makes FIA certified race cars seats and harnesses. In addition, Advantac Technologies which builds defensive and survival gear for the DOD. He holds a B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Missouri.

Rubin Neito

Have been an Issaquah Resident since 1989 and retired from the City of Issaquah in 2011. I served as the Human Resources Director for the City for ten years. Prior to that I worked in the field of Human Resources Management for forty-one years for cities and counties in California and Washington. I have both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from State Universities in California. I served in the US Army from 1966 - 1968. Currently I am on the Board of Directors for the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, the City Parks Board and several other boards and commissions. I am also a member of the Issaquah Kiwanis Club. I truly enjoy volunteering and providing service to our citizens and giving back to this great community.
